News, Events and Second Glances

One of the Philippines’ newest radio stations made wishes come true last night, as it celebrated an evening full of talented OPM artists, world-class musical performances, and most of all, genuine charity with Wish 107.5‘s first ever Wish Awards.

The event was held at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum on 26 January 2016.

Winners of the awards show were able to donate PhP 100,000.00 each to the charities of their choice. The event benefitted organizations such as World Vision, which assists with the needs and rights of Filipino children, as well as Child Haus, a temporary refuge for children and adults undergoing cancer treatment in the country, to name a few.

Some of the night’s big winners were Yeng Constantino, Jason Dy, Jensen and the Flips, Morisette, Sponge Cola, among others. The night’s biggest winner, The Voice Kids 1st Runner-Up and Total Performer Darren Espanto, won five awards — a total of PhP 500,000.00 worth of donations — in just one amazing night!
